Training Description:
This training provides a detailed description of the essential elements of the Comprehensive Child and Family Assessment: an overview of the key parts of the CCFA, the major milestones in the 25-day process, and the specific components that create the final product. This workshop is a 2 day training for a total of 10.5 core hours for social workers, professional counselors, and marriage and family therapists.
Day 1 Schedule: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Day 2 Schedule: 9:00am to 3:30pm
Main Objectives:
- Participants will obtain a complete overview of the purpose of the CCFA and practice completing key sections.
- Participants will learn ways to build a bridge between family and professional interest to create a comprehensive family assessment.
- Participants will be able to explain how the four processes and OARS skills of Motivational Interviewing (MI) can impact client interviews.
